Privacy Policy

Privacy policy

Short version: WebDAV Manager collects nothing. No data, no trackers, no telemetry. The document below spells out what that means, in full.

Effective May 15, 2026 Version 1.0 GDPR compliant Contact contact@webdavman.com

The publisher, the service, and you.

This Privacy Policy describes how WebDAV Manager ("we", "the service") handles — or more precisely, does not handle — your personal data. It applies to the website webdavman.com as well as to the WebDAV Manager application in all of its versions.

It is drafted in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the "GDPR") and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, which form the applicable framework.

None. It really is that simple.

We do not collect, store or transmit to any third party any personal data about you. To be specific:

  • The site webdavman.com contains no cookies, no trackers, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts.
  • The WebDAV Manager application sends no data to our servers. We do not actually operate any application servers — there is nothing, on our side, that could relate to you.
  • Your WebDAV credentials, server URLs, files and any other data you handle inside the app are stored locally on your device. They only ever travel between your device and the WebDAV server you yourself configured.

In plain words — we have no idea who you are, what you store, where, or how often you use the app. And we intend to keep it that way.

The site is served by GitHub Pages.

webdavman.com is hosted by GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) through the GitHub Pages service.

For operational security and basic functioning, GitHub may temporarily log technical information such as IP addresses, HTTP headers and user-agent strings. Such processing falls exclusively under GitHub's own privacy policy, available at docs.github.com.

No cookies. No banners.

The website uses no cookies, and no equivalent technology (localStorage, sessionStorage, browser fingerprinting, and the like) for identification, tracking or analytics purposes.

Since no processing requires consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act or Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, no consent banner is shown — quite deliberately.

GDPR rights, for the record.

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability with respect to your personal data.

In our case, the complete absence of collection makes these rights moot on our side: there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase, because we hold nothing.

You are welcome to send any request to contact@webdavman.com and you will receive a reasoned reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority — in France, the CNIL.

No DPO appointed, and for good reason.

WebDAV Manager has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. The designation of a DPO is not required under Article 37 of the GDPR, given the nature and the volume — none — of the processing we perform.

For any data-protection matter, please write to contact@webdavman.com. A human will reply.

If anything changes, you will find it here.

This policy may be adjusted to reflect changes to the service or to the applicable legal framework. The version in force is always the one published at webdavman.com/privacy.

The last-updated date is shown at the top of the document. Individual notifications cannot be sent, precisely because no user record exists on our side in the first place.

A question, a doubt, a remark — every reply takes a human.
